Nathan is the best, live out of town and had a sore toe so thought I might have had an ingrown toe nailWhilst my doctor just prescribed antibiotics for an infected toe, Nathan identified a deep splinter and shaved the skin back very gently with a scalpel and removed the long splinter with which I experienced no pain whatsoeverI had been putting up with the sore toe for weeks but Nathan fixed it and the soreness was gone the next dayTruly a great professional

I first came to Studio Podiatry after seeing many other health professionals for a complex and stubborn sports injury (tracking on for more than 1 year at this point). Nathan was very thorough and knowledgeable in his assessment. After 5 sessions of shock wave therapy to treat plantar fasciitis, I have seen exceptional results. With continued rehab following the sessions and advice from Nathan, I am now back playing high intensity sports/exercising and living pain-free! I want to say a big thanks to Nathan at Studio Podiatry.I saw Nathan due to Plantar fasciitis and bruised heal issues and being booked in for walking 3 Capes, Tasmania with a five week countdown. Nathan was professional in giving his diagnosis and treatment plan while instilling confidence that I would be ready for the walk.I followed his plan, including weekly shockwave treatment, rehab exercises and a detailed walking plan. Closer to the walk he showed me how to strap the foot to assist with walking with the Plantar fasciitis.I was confident going into the walk and was more than happy that I completed the walk well with only some mild soreness / tiredness on the last two days.So again, a big thanks to Nathan and the team.

I visited Joel over a couple of months for treatment of a split peroneal tendon. I don't recommend the split peroneal tendon as an injury but I strongly recommend seeing Joel and the team at Studio Podiatry if you need to see a podiatrist.Joel was always friendly and patient with his explanation of the injury along with treatment options.It was also great chatting with him about fishing and sport and I particularly enjoyed my visit the day after QLD's courageous victory in State of Origin Game 3.After being thrashed in Game 2 of the series and then losing arguably the best attacking player in the squad only days before the deciding game, QLD came into Game 3 as understandably big underdogs. Things looked exceptionally tough when the Maroons lost two players for the game within the first 5 minutes due to head injuries. For one of the head injuries, a certain Blues player who can remain unnamed (he was wearing the number 6) even heckled and yelled as he stood over a knocked out QLD player in what must be one of the grubbiest acts ever seen in a Blues jersey. NSW jumped to an early lead and with their star studded team, few could have confidently predicted the Maroons were a realistic chance to stay close on the scoreboard let alone overcome the deficit. Not to be written off though, the entire QLD team dug deep, including young players in their first series or even first game. Hard work, belief, and desire all paid off and it was truly inspiring to see the Maroons pull off one of the great series victories.Long story short, 5 stars for the Studio Podiatry team.

After a stupid self attempt to fix an ingrown toe nail which resulted in an infection, I booked an emergency appointment with Tristan . Even though my toe was a mess, Tristan quickly found the culprit and fixed it with no pain and some instant relief . My GP recommended Studio podiatry to me after I complained about a serious discomfort I had due to pain in my right foot, left knee and both hips. Joel was great, he explained everything in an easy to understand way and made an action plan that included shockwave therapy and exercises. Joel has been great after injuring my achilles. 10 week post and nothing could bring the swelling down in and around my tendon. 3 x shock therapy sessions in conjunction with my physio and Joel recommending some different shoes has seen the swelling almost disappear. After 2+ years of terrible foot pain and seeing another podiatrist for 8 months, I was put on to Joel and within my first visit I knew I was finally in good hands! From the warm welcome we received from reception to the professionalism he showed, the knowledge he shared and the technology he had on hand to analyse and diagnose was incredible! Prior to ultrasound results etc, he told me straight away what he thought the issue was... and BOOM! He was spot on. He knew what was wrong and more importantly, how to fix it. Within 2 weeks he had made me orthotics, he was extremely thorough, ensuring they fitted my work boots and the rest of my shoes. Within 4-5 days, the pain I had been somehow putting up with for 2 years had gone! It's now been 2 weeks since I received them and there is no looking back!! Pain free for the first time in a long time and so happy with the result! Thank you Joel, you're a legend!! Can not recommend enough!

I visited Camp Hill Podiatry in August after experiencing severe issues and pain walking for over 12 months. I tried several other options/fixes with no success. Rolled my ankle playing sport and came in to Studio Podiatry on the advice of a friend. Joel was very professional and treated me with some ankle/heel mobilisation and gave me some exercises to help with the recovery at home. Over a month ago my child hobbled in. With so much pain in her feet. We thought it was a plantar faciitis or worse a achillis tendonitis.After an assesment and some excercises and being shown how to massage the area we left with a pair of orthotics for school shoes that we been able to fit into all other shoes.Today we finally got to the follow up and wow the care and attention that was given to us with Joels personal touch has sorted out our painful problem. Not only do they run a tight ship and appointments run on time. The staff are friendly and really care for their patients. I have had a lovely experience with Studio Podiatry Camp Hill. Lizzie is so friendly and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that she was doing. She offered flexible price points and treatments and didn’t try and push me towards the most expensive options.The ladies at reception are very kind and understanding, super flexible with appointments and lovely to chat with. The practice has a really welcoming, comfy vibe:)I would recommend checking with your GP to see if you are eligible for an EPC, I got one for my chronic asthma/anxiety and was eligible for 2 free visits! Podiatrists are not cheap, and having this plan really helped me be able to afford my orthotics. I feel so much better not only physically, but my mind is at ease knowing I’m not causing lasting damage to my little feet bones(except for when I trip but that’s a *me* problem)!

Joel is the best podiatrist ever. He knew exactly what my issue was and the perfect orthotics to fix the problem, custom made for my feet. He also suggested the perfect running/training shoes for me. Appointments with Joel are quick and he is never running late. Joel and Natalie are both very kind and love to have a chat. My whole family goes to Studio Podiatry 😃

For 10 years I made various attempts to return to jogging but always failed due to calf muscle problems .... I saw Joel, and he gave me moulded shoe inserts and a recommendation for better matched joggers, and I’ve been running 3x per week uninterrupted for 6 months.... a game-changer.
